From the LOC
Resources at the Library of Congress
Some users may find the size of the Library of Congress website to be a little intimidating. For this reason, the site is broken up into sections, making navigation much easier and searching much simpler. Below, you will find descriptions and links to sections of the LOC site which, we believe, are most relevant to the classroom teacher.

American Memory

A portal to more than 100 collections, containing more than 9 million items, documenting American history and culture. Collections are easy to search and updated regularly.

America's Library

America's Library looks at the Library of Congress from a kid's perspective. Explore and play, watch movies and sing songs-all in America's past.

Today in American History
